Questions about these resources
Are Stackroom's resources free?
Yes, all of them. The knowledge base, the blog, the templates and the calculators need no account and no email address. The templates carry no watermark and are yours to edit and rebrand. The developer documentation is public too — you only need an account to call the API against your own data.
Do I need a Stackroom account to use the templates and calculators?
No. The templates are standalone Excel and Word files that work in any spreadsheet or word processor. The calculators run entirely in your browser and store nothing. Neither sends anything to us.
What is the difference between the knowledge base and the blog?
The knowledge base answers how to do a specific thing — run an audit, tag your first hundred assets, offboard someone's equipment — in a fixed, procedural format. The blog is longer-form writing on why asset tracking fails and what changes when it works. If you have a task, start with the knowledge base.
