None of this is hidden. It does mean the price you were shown at the start and the price of the setup you actually need can be some distance apart.

Which Timly add-ons are you actually paying for?
Write the list. If it is signatures, counts and API access, Stackroom has signatures and counts built in and documents its API. If RFID is on it, look at EZOfficeInventory or itemit. If the list is empty, the case for moving is weaker than it feels.
Are the machines the point, or the people holding them?
Fixed plant that fails without planned servicing points to Limble. Equipment that moves between people points to Stackroom or Cheqroom. A register with plenty of both needs custody and maintenance tickets on one record — Stackroom — or two tools.
How many people will issue and receive?
Timly, Stackroom and EZOfficeInventory all have unlimited users. itemit caps users on its entry tier, Cheqroom bills administrators and Limble bills every user. If dozens of people touch the register, that settles a great deal on its own.
Migration
Moving your data out of Timly
Timly's register is broad: IT devices, tools, machines and vehicles side by side, each with a QR code, plus assignments to employees, maintenance contracts and inventory checks. Export the asset list with every custom field, the employee list, and whatever assignment and inspection history your tier makes available. Assignment logs will not replay into another system, so keep them archived.
Stackroom maps this closely. Asset types become categories, sites and rooms become hierarchical locations, and employees become people who are not charged as seats. Import people by CSV first, then assets. Maintenance contracts become cover records — manufacturer, extended, AMC or CMC, with policy number, cost and a renewal chain — entered against the assets afterwards; one contract can cover many assets, which shortens the job.
Vehicle-specific data such as mileage and driver has nothing first-class to map to. Keep whatever you report on as custom fields, and set a maintenance plan for recurring inspections so tickets are raised ahead of each date. Timly labels only keep working if their code is one you import as the asset tag or barcode; if they encode a Timly link, plan to relabel as items are next handled.
